Expertise Rooted in the Firm
My name is Victoria, and I'm the founder of Medtrieval. My approach to legal data is built on five years of experience inside the firms you manage every day.
I completed my undergraduate education at The University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration. My early career was spent doing contract work with NDAs, SOWs, and MSAs in the tech and hospitality industries. This provided the groundwork for my exposure to legal and compliance.
When the hospitality sector was hit hard in 2020, it served as the impetus for me to transition my technical background into the legal field, where I began my career at a small personal injury firm in North Carolina. In that environment, I quickly learned that every dollar spent toward records matters. Efficient, thoughtful records retrieval isn't just a clerical task; it’s a strategy that puts more money into the pockets of both the clients and the firm.
Later, I transitioned to a mid-size firm serving all of the Carolinas. Handling a higher volume of cases gave me deep exposure to diverse records systems and the unique filing requirements of different states. It was also during this time that I completed medical terminology classes and gained firsthand exposure to utilizing electronic medical systems such as Epic.
Today, I use that "insider" knowledge to provide manual audits and retrieval services that AI simply cannot replicate. I understand the nuances of a medical ledger because I’ve spent years reading them for the demand phase.
A human-led approach to a technical process.
My mission is to transform records retrieval from a clerical burden into a strategic advantage. In an industry shifting toward automated shortcuts, I provide the critical human oversight that AI misses—combining 'insider' legal experience with technical auditing to ensure law firms capture every missing provider and every billable cost.
